Senior Azure Cloud Consultant (w/m/d)

To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Consultant (m/f/d) – DACH Region to actively shape and drive the digital transformation of our enterprise clients on Azure.

In this key role with maximum creative freedom, you will act as the primary technical point of contact and strategic advisor for our clients, ensuring excellent delivery across highly complex Azure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Enterprise Architecture: Take end-to-end responsibility for robust Azure cloud architectures for our clients. This includes high-level design, defining cloud governance frameworks (cost, security, compliance), and integrating into existing on-premise and multi-cloud landscapes.

• Technical Leadership: Lead technical streams within cloud transformation projects, ensure adherence to industry best practices (FinOps, SecOps, DevOps), and act as a technical mentor for junior consultants.

• C-Level Consulting: Provide strategic advisory to client decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs) regarding their Azure cloud roadmap, operating models, and cloud investment plans.

• Automation & Modernization: Drive the implementation of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep) and automated deployment pipelines within enterprise environments.

• Complex Requirements Management: Translate highly complex business requirements into scalable technical solution concepts and oversee the coordination of their technical implementation.

• Enterprise-Level Expertise: Several years of proven professional experience in a senior consulting, lead engineer, or architecture role—ideally within IT services or enterprise environments.

• Deep Azure Expertise: Excellent hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of Azure services (e.g., Azure Networking, Security Center, Entra ID, Azure DevOps, AKS, Azure Functions).

• Architecture Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cloud governance, IT security, Identity & Access Management (IAM/Zero Trust), and FinOps principles.

• Certifications: An active Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) certification or equivalent qualification is required.

• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Full professional fluency in German and English, with a proven ability to tailor complex technical concepts for C-level executives and influence strategic decisions.
