Senior Consultant Finance & Transformation (f/m/d) – GROW with SAP / S/4HANA Cloud

We are now looking for you to play a pivotal role in shaping, expanding, and establishing this capability across the market.
As a Senior Consultant Finance & Transformation (f/m/d), you will take on a key role: collaborating as a trusted peer with our clients, you will help transition their finance processes from legacy SAP landscapes into modern S/4HANA Cloud solutions, serving as the central bridge between business requirements and IT. You combine strong commercial process acumen with first-class facilitation skills, driving client initiatives in pre-sales and designing tomorrow’s best-practice solutions.

Your mission

  • Practice Development & Pre-Sales: Proactively contribute your expertise during pre-sales phases and discovery workshops, inspiring clients with modern cloud ERP approaches under GROW with SAP.
  • Fit-to-Standard & Workshop Facilitation: Prepare and facilitate fit-to-standard workshops (using tools such as SAP Process Navigator and SAP Signavio) and evaluate process gaps methodically (delta scoping).
  • Process Consulting & Record-to-Report: Translate business requirements into near-standard, end-to-end financial processes (Record-to-Report: including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Cost Accounting).
  • Functional Configuration: Accurately and consistently configure processes within the S/4HANA Cloud standard using modern cloud tooling such as SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC).
  • Integration & Clean-Core Design: Design standard-compliant extensions aligned with clean-core principles, coordinating integration scenarios with adjacent operational areas (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay) and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Data Migration & Test Management: Advise clients on data cleansing and migration (e.g. using the SAP Migration Cockpit) and leverage modern platforms such as SAP Cloud ALM for test case design and UAT support.
  • Change Enablement & Hypercare: Deliver hands-on key-user training, embed a cloud mindset within client teams, and ensure smooth, reliable go-live and hypercare phases.

Your profile

  • Proven consulting experience in SAP implementation or transformation projects, with a strong focus on finance and controlling processes (FI/CO). Prior exposure to S/4HANA Cloud (Public or Private Edition) is an advantage.
  • A deep understanding of core business operations and genuine enthusiasm for guiding clients towards battle-tested standard processes through a collaborative standard-first approach.
  • Ideally, familiarity with the SAP Activate implementation methodology for cloud environments, alongside a passion for agile working practices (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Hands-on experience with modern tools such as SAP Signavio, SAP CBC, SAP Cloud ALM, or the SAP Migration Cockpit.
  • A working knowledge of integration touchpoints with logistics and supply chain processes (e.g. Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay) as well as the capabilities of the SAP BTP to round off your profile.
  • SAP Cloud certifications (e.g. SAP Certified Associate – S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Financial Accounting, or SAP Activate) are welcome bonuses; if you do not hold them yet, we will happily support you in getting certified.
  • Strong workshop facilitation skills, an empathetic yet compelling presence in front of business stakeholders, IT decision-makers, and senior management, and the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
  • Ambition to help build and mentor a growing practice area, a willingness to take ownership, a dedication to continuous professional development, and strong personal initiative coupled with a team-first mindset.
  • Business-fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
